Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is a technique which uses a particular type of solution to gently remove the outermost layer of damaged and dead skin cells, revealing the more youthful skin underneath. Chemical peels can reduce or improve fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, uneven skin tone and other skin imperfections. The particular solution chosen will determine the depth of your peel and type of skin condition treated.
Best for: Fine lines and wrinkles, extensive sun-damaged skin, deep acne scars, blotchy skin, and/or precancerous cells (actinic keratosis).
Treatment duration: 20 minutes
Comfort level: Tolerable. Mild stinging/burning sensation.
Downtime: Minimal. Mild redness directly after the procedure which typically dissipates within the next 24 hours. Increased UV protection is advised.
Treatment frequency: Every 6-8 weeks as needed.
Results: 6-8 weeks of soft, smooth, radiant skin. Increased use of UV protection is advised.

Treatment frequency: Every 6-8 weeks or as fine hairs regrow.

Dermaplaning is a Non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a fine, sterile blade to gently exfoliate the skin. This procedure removes dead skin cells, fine hairs (known as "peach fuzz"), and other debris from the surface of the face. It aims to improve skin texture, tone, and appearance by revealing the healthier layers of skin underneath.
Steroid Injections for Acne
Steroid injections are a fast, effective treatment for inflamed cystic acne. A small amount of corticosteroid is injected directly into the blemish to reduce swelling, redness, and discomfort—often shrinking the lesion within 24–48 hours. Ideal for deep, painful breakouts or when quick healing is desired before an event.
Best for: This treatment is usually reserved for tender, swollen acne nodules, or cysts that aren’t responding to typical acne therapies.
Treatment duration: 10 minutes
Comfort level: Minimal discomfort. Localized injection.
Downtime: No downtime.
Treatment frequency: As needed.
Results: Will hasten resolution of isolated cystic acne nodules.
Cryotherapy (Liquid Nitrogen)
Liquid Nitrogen is a minimally invasive procedure with minimal scarring. In aesthetics, liquid nitrogen (N2) is primarily used in a procedure called "cryotherapy" to freeze and destroy unwanted skin growths like warts, skin tags, and some precancerous lesions, essentially "burning" them off with extreme cold, due to its extremely low temperature of -196°C (-321°F).
Best For:
Treating benign skin lesions such as skin tags, age spots, warts, seborrheic keratoses, and sun damage.
Treatment Duration:
Typically 5–15 minutes, depending on the number and size of lesions.
Comfort Level:
Mild to moderate discomfort; feels like a quick sting or intense cold. Temporary redness or a slight burning sensation may occur.
Downtime:
Minimal to none. Treated areas may blister, scab, or darken temporarily before healing in 5–10 days.
Treatment Frequency:
Often a single treatment is sufficient. Some lesions may require 1–2 follow-up sessions spaced a few weeks apart.
Results:
Visible improvement within days to weeks. Full results after the treated area heals, leaving clearer, smoother skin.
