Laser and Intense Pulse Light(IPL) treatments use a beam of light, set to a particular wavelength, to target and eliminate abnormal or damaged tissue. The wavelength of the IPL and laser beam will also stimulate the growth of healthy new skin cells, collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin are the vital components of skin that provide firmness and elasticity. and strength and healthy youthful glow.

IPL Photofacial
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is different than a laser in that the technology is different. An IPL releases a broadband of light (BBL) with many wavelengths vs. a laser that has a single, focused wavelength of light directed at its target. Both modalities are highly effective, but may be used for particular skin concerns.
IPL Photofacial targets melanin(pigment of freckles/brown spots) caused by UV exposure, drawing it the the skins surface and gradually self exfoliates, leaving the skin with a youthful, even skin tone.

TREATMENT DURATION: 30 minutes
NUMBER OF TREATMENTS: 2-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart
BENEFIT DURATION: Indefinite. With repeat prolonged UV exposure however, sun spots can return. Sun protection will reduce the recurrence.
DISCOMFORT: Tolerable. The treatment delivers a snapping sensation, bright light and heat. It is highly worth it!
DOWNTIME: None, with the exception of having more pronounced/darker brown spots for 7-10 days as the skin exfoliates. No scabs nor raised bumps, just darker pigment. Can cover with makeup if desired.
Laser Genesis
This 1064 nm laser focuses just under the surface of the skin, in the upper dermis. It creates heat energy, stimulating collagen production and remodeling which will ultimately soften fine lines.
Genesis will improve the appearance of diffuse redness and flushing by targeting the small capillaries at this level.

Laser Hair Reduction
Laser Hair Reduction is a safe, effective, and long-lasting solution for unwanted hair. Using advanced laser technology, this treatment targets hair follicles at the root, inhibiting future hair growth while keeping the surrounding skin undamaged.
$75-$500/area. Price varies based on treatment area, which is best determined with consultation.
BEST FOR: Reduction of unwanted hair. Laser hair is not effective on blonde/gray/white hairs. There must be pigment in the hair follicle for the treatment to be effective.
TREATMENT AREAS: All parts of the body can be, face, arms, underarms, chest, abdomen, legs, and back
TREATMENT DURATION: 15-60 mins depending on surface area being treated,
NUMBER OF TREATMENTS: 6-8 treatments scheduled 6-8 weeks apart.
BENEFIT DURATION: Indefinitely. Some individual hairs may regrow, that can be treated with an additional treatment, but the amount of hair will not return to its original thickness.
DISCOMFORT: Moderate, but tolerable. Topical anesthetic available upon request.

Laser Vein Reduction
Laser Vein Reduction is a non-invasive treatment that safely and effectively reduces the appearance of spider veins, broken capillaries, and vascular lesions on the face and body. Using advanced laser technology, this treatment targets unwanted blood vessels, causing them to collapse and fade over time—leaving your skin clearer and more even-toned.

BEST FOR: Spider veins of the face to deep blue reticular veins on the legs. Hemangiomas also respond very well. Large varicose veins, however, cannot be treated with this modality.
TREATMENT AREAS: Any body region, primarily face and legs.
TREATMENT DURATION: 30-60 minutes
NUMBER OF TREATMENTS: 1-2 treatments
BENEFIT DURATION: Indefinitely. Based on genetics, lifestyle, medical history, a few small vessels may reappear over time, which can be retreated, but will not return to the original state.
DISCOMFORT: Moderate, but tolerable. Topical anesthetic available upon request.
DOWNTIME: None. There is typically some slight redness and mild localized swelling(like an insect bite) at the site following the procedure, occasionally slight bruising, though this resolves quickly in a few days.
The red vessel will turn to a light gray before it absorbs, typically between 1-8 weeks
